Change Your Habitation

Change your Habitation

The Birds of the air, they master the upper heavenly space.  They glide, dive and float sometimes show acrobatic movement.

They are very comfortable because it is their habitation. God created them fit for that environment.

The Fishes of the sea-they are comfortable in their own habitation.  They dive and maneuver under the body of water.  You don’t see them panicking or being confused, because they are in their own God given habitation.

The Beasts of the wild-they are comfortable and content in the jungle and in the dark, that is where God design them to be. He has put in their innate nature to fear man and stay away in the wilderness.

Except at the end of times their sense of fear towards humankind will be removed and they will be daring to come close to the dwelling places of humans. At end of times all grace that we have been enjoying, will be revoked from us, including the Holy Spirit will be withdrawn from this earth specially, after the Rapture. Today, after Jesus came and died for our salvation; we are living under Grace thru Faith.

The Flowers of the fields, they bloom and thrive because they exist in their own habitation.

Man! Of course we all know that earth is our habitation.  So if earth is our habitation, why so much problems, so much unhappiness, incomprehensible things happen among us and around us.

You see, when the birds of the air, the fishes of the sea and the beasts of the wild, they are created with a physical attribution fit for their environment.  They lack something; they have no conscious, no remorse or reasoning power because they have no Mind/Spirit/Soul, thus, they only care how to satisfy their physical needs. They are carnal creatures.  You know what carnal means – on physical, especially sexual needs, eating and sleeping activities. It is sad today’s human beings are more carnal than spiritual.

Human beings are different. God created us to partake two habitations. The reason for that is: We sinned against God and drove us out of his kingdom and gave us a probationary period on earth, based on the Faith that we have in his Son Jesus Christ.  If we believe in Him that He is the Son of God and Redeemer of Man kind; then we will be called to His Glorious Kingdom at the end of our lives, where it was our original habitation. This gift is performed thru the free will He gave us.  Mathew 3:16 – God so much loved the world, whosoever believes in His Son will not perish but have eternal life.

Since a Sinful man cannot coexist with a Holy God, He has to put us on this Earth. We have to separate from Him.

Now we have two habitations.  The Earthly and the Heavenly.  We were created to be Spiritual beings.  You know the story, how Adam and Eve sinned against God. Eve listened what the devil whispered in her ear.  “If you eat this fruit you will be like God.” When she heard this, she was taken by the temptation of three powerful desires.  1. The lust of the eye, she looked at the apple and it looked so good for her.  2. The lust of the flesh; to satisfy her fleshly desire to eat it.  3. The lust of pride; she was captivated by the thought of being like God, pride. She passed her desires to Adam and he sinned. Because of this original sin, man kind inherited the sin nature from Adam. If you ask why not we inherit the sin nature from Eve. Here is your answer. When a woman conceives; the blood line comes from the man’s side. The woman’s egg does not contain blood; and the secret of life is in the Blood.  That is why blood is so precious thus the command do not kill.

Jesus while he was on this earth was tempted by the devil with these same three desires.

Before our sinful nature, our habitation was a magical heavenly place. That is what God meant when he said “Seek the kingdom of Heaven, and Earth will be added to you.”  If we follow his commandments and stay with his promise all the earthy problems man kind is facing should have been avoided.

Because of spiritual weakness we end up being in turmoil and live in uncertainty because we missed the mark. therefore, we lost not knowing both earthly and heavenly habitation to work for our advantage as God meant it to be.

What does God wants from us? To love him, to fear him for he is sovereign God and to obey his commandments. Have faith in Jesus our savior and do good deeds for your fellow man, leave the rest to God.

God did not want to lose us for the evil spirit (the Devil) and his vicious ways to mess around with man kind. Jesus was sent by His heavenly Father to this earth to redeem us and wash away our sins by His Holy precious Blood and to be partakers of His Kingdom which is our real habitation.

therefore, let us keep our Faith. Fear our Creator, live humbly and righteously in front of Him so this earth will be our blessed habitation.  For it won’t be long before he comes to judge the world.

The Great Storm

The Great Storm – Life’s Storms with Faith in Jesus

The Great Storm, In the biblical passage Mark 4:37-41, a profound analogy unfolds as Jesus and his disciples encounter a fierce storm at sea. This narrative serves as a powerful metaphor for our existence in the world, illustrating the challenges we face and the significance of faith in navigating life’s tumultuous seas.

In this passage, the disciples find themselves in a boat, tossed by violent waves until it is on the verge of being overwhelmed. Meanwhile, Jesus, seemingly unperturbed, rests in the rear of the ship, asleep on a pillow. Faced with imminent danger, the disciples awaken him, exclaiming, “Master, cares thou not that we perish?” This plea echoes the human cry in times of crisis, questioning whether God is aware of our struggles and concerns.

Jesus, in response, rises and rebukes the wind, commanding the sea to be still. Miraculously, the wind ceases, and a great calm descends. He then addresses his disciples, questioning their fear and lack of faith. Their awe is palpable as they marvel at the authority of the one who commands even the wind and sea.

The Great Storm, this biblical narrative serves as an allegory for our worldly journey. The boat, tossed by violent waves, represents the world we inhabit, subject to trials and hardships, and tribulations. The disciples’ cry, mirrors the human inclination to distance ourselves from God, relying on our intelligence and abilities to navigate life independently.

The prevailing attitude in society often divorces itself from a reliance on Jesus, viewing external deities as unnecessary for daily living. Yet, the narrative reminds us that Jesus descended from the divine realm, willingly embracing humanity’s struggles to make us participants in his eternal Kingdom. God sent Him to bear our sins, offering redemption through his Holy precious Blood.

The Old Testament’s sacrificial rituals, symbolized by the blood of lambs, were temporary measures, signifying the acknowledgment of sin without the complete revelation of God’s eternal saving mystery. Jesus, however, became the ultimate sacrificial lamb, offering himself once and for all for the forgiveness of sins. This profound act simplifies salvation – have faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior, and forgiveness is freely given.

Amid humanity’s pride and technological marvels, individuals may believe themselves untouchable and elevated in rank. Yet, Psalm 4-9 admonishes those of rank, questioning their pursuits and urging them to seek the Lord’s wonders. The call to tremble and sin not emphasizes the importance of righteous living, reinforcing the need for a deep connection with God.

Fear-the-Lord

Returning to the storm and the ship, the core message is clear: living without faith in this world subjects us to the same fate as the disciples in the boat, buffeted by the forces of evil and worldly troubles. Jesus’ command to the wind and sea reveals his authority over the adversities within and around us. By rebuking these evil forces, we can experience the transforming peace and calm that follows.

Jesus challenges us not to succumb to fear but to question our lack of faith. The disciples, witnessing his power, experienced a fear grounded in reverence for the possessor of heaven and earth. This fear is not of the same nature as fearing another human but is a holy and righteous fear, acknowledging the authority and majesty of God.

The analogy of the storm serves as a poignant reminder to stay connected to God. Distancing ourselves from the divine inevitably leads to facing the great storm described in the passage. It is a vivid depiction of the consequences of a life lived without faith.

As we navigate the seas of life, the wisdom within this biblical narrative encourages us to acknowledge the existence of a great storm – the trials and tribulations that beset us. Jesus’s command to the wind and sea beckons us to invite his authority into our lives, allowing the transformation power of faith to subdue the storms that rage within and around us.

May Lord Jesus Christ our Savior, open our hearts and minds to understand His teachings; so we can leverage this narrative to emphasize the importance of faith in navigating life’s challenges.

God bless.

Fear The Lord

The Joy of Fearing the Lord

Biblical-ly, our reverence for the Lord emanates from believing in Jesus Christ, acknowledging His divinity, joyfully obeying His teachings, and surrendering our lives entirely to His care.

When we relegate God to insignificance, showing indifference or helplessness, only recognizing Him ceremoniously on Sundays and ignoring Him the rest of the week, we become vulnerable to every fear that life presents. Conversely, when our joy stems from revering the Lord, our lives become governed by indescribable and magnificent joy. Why? Because when we truly revere the Lord, there remains nothing else to fear! Acknowledging God in His holiness and trusting in His Son, Jesus Christ, allows us to confront the future with confidence and pride, irrespective of circumstances. This stands as the key to finding peace and joy amid a world fraught with anxiety.

Striving to continuously embrace the Spirit, may we witness reverence for the Lord becoming the ultimate pursuit and joy in our lives.

Caution: To those who perceive the Bible as antiquated, do not be deceived. The Word and Love of God remain unchanged and eternally constant. His love for His creation endures forever.

Exodus 20:20

Moses reassured the people, “Do not fear; God has come to test you so that the fear of Him will be with you to keep you from sinning.”

Ecclesiastes 3:14

I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does this so that people will fear Him.

In the book of Proverbs, the fear of the Lord embodies continual submission to God in humility and faith (Prov. 23:17), entailing a detestation of evil and an earnest desire to turn away from it (Prov. 8:13; 16:6). Revering God surpasses all earthly treasures.

It’s fair to equate the fear of the Lord with having unwavering faith in God and responding obediently to His will.

For a concise exploration of this concept, turn to the book of Deuteronomy: “And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees” (Deut. 10:12-13). Fearing the Lord intricately intertwines with loving, serving, and clinging steadfastly to the Lord in response to His boundless grace (Deut. 10:20; 1 Sam 12:24).

In Psalms, revering the Lord signifies standing in awe of the living God (Ps. 33:8), glorifying Him (Ps. 22:3), and wholeheartedly trusting Him (Ps. 40:3). Those who fear the Lord receive His unwavering love (Ps. 103:17) and cultivate a profound friendship with God (Ps 25:14).

According to the prophet Isaiah, fearing the Lord involves acknowledging God for His essence and acting accordingly: “Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. But the LORD of hosts, Him you shall honor as holy. Let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread” (Isa. 8:12-13). When Isaiah prophesies about the coming Messianic King with the Spirit resting on Him, the outcome is that “His delight shall be in the fear of the Lord” (Isaiah 11:2-3; cf. John 4:34). His utmost desire and fulfillment would lie in trusting and obeying the Lord, pleasing God and prioritizing Him would not be a burden.

While preaching to the Gentiles, Peter acknowledges, “I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him” (Acts 10:34-35). For the Apostle Paul, both Jews and Gentiles stand condemned before God as sinners who do not fear God (Rom. 3:18, quoting Ps. 36:1), and the cornerstone of his ministry is the fear of the Lord (2 Cor. 5:11).

In the later New Testament letters, fear of the Lord clearly transforms into reverence for Christ (Col. 3:22-24) and serves as the bedrock of Christian conduct (Eph. 5:21). In 1 Peter 3:14–15, the apostle alludes to Isaiah 8:13-14: ‘But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy.” Peter here identifies Yahweh, the Lord of hosts, with Jesus Christ! The command issued to Israel in Isaiah’s time remains the same for the church today, albeit the entity we fear is more explicitly revealed as the Lord Jesus Christ, one with the Father.

Take Heed of the Coming Rapture

posted in: Blog | 91

The Rapture

As believers, it is our hope that we all follow in the footsteps of Christ. By doing so, we are called to treat all of God’s created beings with respect and to act as good stewards of His creations. Additionally, we believe that Jesus died for our sins and we have confessed with our mouth and truly believe in our hearts. Through this act of faith, we are living in a state of grace which is a gift from God. That means we are ready for the soon coming Rapture, and we can continue to live our lives with the assurance that we are following in Christ’s example and walking in His grace.

The concept of the Rapture is based on the belief that Jesus will return to take His followers away from this world before the onset of a period of great tribulation. This tribulation is often described as a time of great upheaval and chaos, marked by the rise of the Antichrist and the rule of Satan over the earth’s governments. Some people believe that the current formation of the New World Order is a sign of the impending tribulation and the rise of this evil government.

However, the good news for Christians is that they believe that Jesus will save them from this chaos and the abomination of desolation. The Rapture is seen as a way to escape this period of darkness and be taken to a place of safety. While there are many interpretations of what the Rapture entails and when it will happen, the core belief is that Jesus will come again and take His followers to be with Him in a place of eternal peace and joy.

In the Book of Revelation, the First Beast rising out of the sea is often interpreted as symbolizing the rise of a powerful governmental leader. This leader is believed to gain his power through a combination of military might and economic control over humanity. The sea, in this context, is seen as representing the masses of people or humanity as a whole.

The second Beast, on the other hand, is often seen as symbolizing a religious government or leader who receives his power from Satan. This false Prophet is believed to emerge from the seven hills surrounding Rome, which is seen as a reference to the city of Rome. This second Beast exercises the power of the first Beast, and is instrumental in causing the people of the world to worship the Antichrist.

Yes, according to some interpretations of the Book of Revelation, the false Prophet who emerges from the seven hills of Rome is a religious leader who receives his power from Satan. This false Prophet is believed to work in conjunction with the Antichrist, a political leader who also gains his power through Satanic inspiration.

The false Prophet is believed to use his religious authority to persuade people to worship the Antichrist as a kind of messianic figure, deceiving the masses into believing that he is the true savior of the world. This deception is seen as a way of furthering Satan’s agenda and leading humanity astray from the path of righteousness.

While there are many different interpretations of the Book of Revelation, the core message is one of hope and encouragement for believers, who are called to remain steadfast in their faith and to resist the temptation to follow false leaders and deceptive teachings.

The concept of the Holy Trinity is central to Christian theology, and refers to the belief that God exists as three distinct but inseparable persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. This belief, based on biblical teachings and is central to the Christian faith.

Some believers see evidence of the Holy Trinity in the natural world around us. They point to examples such as the Sun, with it’s three components of circular shape, light, and warmth, as evidence of God’s triune nature. Other examples, such as the egg with it’s three parts, or the tree with it’s root, trunk, and branches, are seen as further evidence of this pattern in nature.

They help us to recognize the Finger Print of the Holy Trinity in all of creation, and to see the beauty and complexity of the natural world as a reflection of God’s infinite wisdom and creativity.

Yes, according to some interpretations of the Bible, the Devil seeks to counterfeit the Holy Trinity by creating a false trinity consisting of himself, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet. The Devil is seen as a counterfeit of God the Father, the Antichrist as a counterfeit of God the Son, and the False Prophet as a counterfeit of the Holy Spirit.

The False Prophet is believed to use his religious authority to deceive people into worshiping the Antichrist, just as the Holy Spirit draws people to God the Son. The signs and wonders performed by the False Prophet are seen as a way of furthering this deception and leading people away from the truth.

The end goal of the false government is to gain complete control of the world. They plan to use advanced technology to do miracles and introduce the Mark of the Beast, an electronic chip that would be implanted in people’s foreheads or arms. This chip would control all aspects of their lives, including their finances and movement. Refusal to take the mark may result in starvation or death.

As a believer, the important thing is to focus on spreading the Gospel and living a righteous life, trusting in God’s protection and provision. It is not our responsibility to worry about the details of the end times, but rather to be prepared and ready for the return of Christ. For those who have not yet accepted the Gospel, it is important to share the message of salvation with them, so they too can have the opportunity to be saved from the coming tribulations. Ultimately, our faith in God and His plan for the future gives us hope and peace, even in the midst of uncertainty and turmoil.

Rev 1:3  “Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

The period of seven years after the Rapture is commonly known as the Tribulation. During this time, the Antichrist and the False Prophet will rise to power and bring about a one-world government and religion. The first half of the Tribulation will be marked by a false sense of peace and prosperity, but in the middle of the seven years, the Antichrist will declare himself to be God and demand worship from all people. This is known as the abomination of desolation.

The last three and a half years will be a time of great persecution for those who refuse to worship the Antichrist or take his mark. There will be wars, plagues, and natural disasters, and the wrath of God will be poured out on the world. But despite all of this, there will still be people who come to faith in Jesus Christ and refuse to bow down to the Antichrist. At the end of the Tribulation, Jesus Christ will return to earth to defeat the Antichrist and to set up His kingdom.

Please look the Time line below and understand how close we are to the last days.

If there is anything to Isaac Newton’s prediction in 1704, then the world as we know it only has 37 years left.

Newton, who broke a considerable amount of ground in physics and mathematics, believed that the world we live in will come to an end in 2060. The date might not be correct as the time line below indicates, we are very close. We can count the remaining years with our one hand.

daily Prayer

“Current polling indicates that the number of people believing, humanity won’t make it through the 21st century has grown and approximately one in seven individuals believe that the world will end within their lifetime.” (News) from the WEB.

Daniel 9:26

And after seven weeks, threescore and two weeks which is 69 weeks, there will be one week left to fulfill Daniel’s prophecy of 70 weeks, shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolation are determined.

This quote is from Daniel 9:26 in the Bible, and it refers to a prophecy about the coming of the Messiah and the destruction of Jerusalem. The “69 weeks” mentioned in the quote refer to a period of 483 years, and it is believed by some Christians a prophecy about the coming of Jesus Christ. The “one week left” is interpreted by some as a reference to the seven years of the Tribulation period mentioned earlier. The prophecy also mentions the destruction of the city and the sanctuary, which some interpret as a reference to the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD by the Romans.

Daniel 12:8

“And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?”

Daniel 12:9

“And the Angel Gabriel said, Go thy way, Daniel: for he words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”

The Natural Man verse the Spiritual Man

The Natural verse the Spiritual

In Genesis creation time, God created the heaven and the earth. He put Adam in a perfect condition until the Devil got Eve to sin and she involved Adam to sin her sin. Thus  Adam and Eve were cast out of God’s site: because righteous God and Evil man can not co-exist, until God comes with eternal solution to draw back mankind to Himself.

They lost their spirituality and became earthly, thus subsequent Adamic race inherited Adam’s sin and became carnal. Seeking only earthly and selfish desire became the norm of Adam and all his fellow men.

The Devil told Eve, “For God doth know that in the day you eat of the tree of life, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. They both violated God’s will.

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life took over Eve. The Devil has tried to tempt Jesus with the same three temptations.  At the end of His 40 days fasting, the Devil approached Jesus with the same three temptations.  Jesus being God, resisted the temptation. Thanks God for Jesus being obedient to His Father.

Mathew 4.2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

4.3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4.4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  The lust of the flesh

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.  The lust of the Eye.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;  The lust of Pride

And the eyes of Adam and Eve, both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

This was the realization by Adam and Eve that they had become carnal and earthly, because they felt naked and have to look for material staff to cover themselves.

But God in His predetermined counsel sent his only begotten Son to save humanity from the enemy at a time appointed by God. The hidden mystery of God (Father, Son, Holy spirit).

Here are the differences between the natural and spiritual Man: First was the Natural man and then the Spiritual man.

The Natural:       The  Spiritual:

Adam                 Jesus

Cane                  Abel

Esau                  Jacob

Ishmael              Isaac

Saul                   David

Jews                  Gentiles

Earthly  Promise (to Jews)    Heavenly Promise to ( The Church Age),Christians

Anti-Christ          True Christ

Adam – sinned against God and became a Carnal man.

Cane – killed his brother Abel because of jealousy and being a carnal man.

Esau – sold his birthright for bread and pottage of lentils to Jacob – Earthly desire.

Genesis 25:34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

Ishmael – was born from Sarah’s handmaid not by God’s promise like Issac. Sarah is Abraham’s wife which God has promised that they will have a son in their old age.  They waited for a longtime. Being impatient, Sarah allowed her husband to go to her maiden Hagar and bare him a child. This was man’s desire not God’s divine will for Abraham to have Ishmael, thus a symbol of carnality. It was a plan of the flesh not of the spirit.

Saul – 1 Samuel 15:10-11Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel saying, 11- It repents me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

Saul’s Carnal life was so bad, he was pursuing King David to kill him because of jealousy.

The Jews – Roman 10:3 –  For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Romans 11:8  (According as it is written, God has given them the spirit of slumber eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear:) unto this day.

This is because of their unbelief, for they were earthly and carnal, they were unable to see the spiritual light of God.

Thus we have the distinctive separation of the natural man Adam and the second Adam the Spiritual Jesus.

But at the end of times, God will revive the Jewish people and they will be able to see, to the point where they will say, this is the brother who we killed. Then their eyes and their understanding will be open and they will cry for what they have done to Him.  That is why God said in the following verse:

Jeremiah 46:28  Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you: but I will not make a full end of you, but correct you in measure; yet will I not leave you wholly unpunished.

The bottom line, he will come for the Jewish Nation at the end of times.  He started with the Jewish people, He will end it with the Jewish people.

The Anti-Christ: Of course at end of times, after the rapture takes place to save His Church (Spiritual people) from the coming tribulation,  Anti-Christ will try to take over and force people to worship him as if he is Jesus Christ and makes so many signs and wonders to make the people believe in him. Mind you, after the rapture the only people left on earth are those that are left behind and the unbelieving Jewish people. Unfortunately after so many trial and tribulation; as God promised he will come for the Jewish people to wrap this earthly cycle of problem. The Devil and his cronies will be in hell, and Jesus will reign for a thousand years, the Millennial kingdom with perfect peace, wisdom and understanding.

Let us lift our hearts towards God, the creator of heaven and earth and everything visible and invisible. That was His grand plan to save us from the enemy by giving us His only begotten son for ransom to our sins.

What do we have to do?  Get in the habit of reading the Bible at least couple of chapters per day. Here is a link:https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/ for the Official King James Bible. It might be hard for the first time, because the Bible is really hard to understand.  As you keep reading consistently the Holy Spirit will come into action to reveal to you the things you read and you will have a lot of Ah! moments. It is wonderful, it is a difference between eternal life and eternal damnation. For the Bible is the power of God. It is Man’s Operation Manual.

Sample read from the Bible:

Romans 10:13 – For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Romans: 8:6  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.  Romans 9

For with the heart man believes  unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:10

Christ is RisenThis is the most important verse of the whole bible, it is the crux of the matter. Believe that Jesus died, buried and rose again and ascended into Heaven.  At the appointed time, He will come again in Glory to judge the living and the dead.

1 Corinthians Chapter 15

1, Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.`

3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

God’s Promise from Eternity past

In the beginning the Trion God called out of nothing , everything. The heavens, the Angelic hosts,  the earth and everything in it; all begins with the Almighty Trion God.

John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him.

John 1:14   The Word was made flesh, the Glory of the only begotten of the Father full of Grace and Truth. Jesus Christ the Lord.

Colossians 1:13   The Father who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins; who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16: For by Him were all things are created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, principalities or powers: all things were created by God the Son. They are created for Him, for His purpose and by Him all things consists; meaning God the Son has hold it together with the power of His Word.

Ephesians 3:9   And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

Soon enough the world got corrupted and sinned against God. God told Noah to build an Ark for He is going to destroy the world by flood for their sins is exceedingly high.

After Noah’s flood and thru the 8 surviving people, the earth was filled with the descendants of Ham, Shem and Seth (Noah’ Sons and their wives). They scattered thru out the world after the flood.  Soon enough mankind fall back into sin again by idol worshiping and they forgot their creator.

They were even trying to poke God by building a Tower of Babel so they could reach Him.

God knowing their heart confused their language so they will not be one, for their heart was evil, thus the word babble is coined to this day.  They were scattered throughout the world, became different nations and lived their sinful lives.

God started a new revelation, out of the Chaldeans  (member of an ancient Semitic people that become dominant in Babylonia. Abraham was called out to leave his pagan land. and to go to the promise land and be a blessing to all mankind.  Abraham believed what God has asked him and started journeying to this Promise Land.  This believe was accounted to Abraham as righteous and God Blessed him.

Oh man how dull can you be at heart?  Why do you love what is in vain and seek after false hood?  As you know the Israelites after a while start believing in idols too, not obeying His commandments and not recognizing God. For this rebelliousness, God scattered them all over the Nations.  The Jewish people divided between Juda and Israel(the 10 tribes) and soon enough they were scattered all over the world.

Hebrews 1:1-3  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoken in times past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Acts 2.22-23  Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:  Him being delivered by the determinate counsel and fore knowledge of God, ye have taken and by wicked hands have crucified and slain Him:  It is sad the created beings at the appointed time killed Jesus by hanging him on the Cross.

Here the determinate factor is the counsel of the Trion God in eternity past,  how God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, they laid out all the plan of salvation of the ages, which is our creation, salvation and sanctification. The coming of Jesus Christ, the nations rejection of the King, the crucifixion and the ascension.

Everything in God’s dealing with the human race, have to deal with Israel earthly people in the Old Testament and the Church (the Gentiles) His heavenly people in the New testament.   That is why all thru out the Old Testament, when God spoke to Daniel, or Mosses or the other prophets – when He referred to the Jewish people. He always said to them, talk to thy People.  Now, when you read the new testament Paul is talking to us as the church people.

Therefore the blessings for the Jews were an earthly blessings, if you believe in me and do the commandments, you will be blessed on this earth.  Who ever bless you will be blessed and who ever cursed you will be cursed.  So the promise has never been a heavenly promise for the Jews. The promise of heavenly blessings was given to the Gentiles.  If you believe in me and do the commandments you will be heirs of My Kingdom.  No guarantee, you will be richly blessed in earthly things like Abraham, David, Solomon and all the other heavy hitters of the Old Testament times.

What we have to understand is that, to separate the Jews, the nation of Israel from the church which is the Gentiles-Christ’s body; we have to distinctly understand that the Jews are earthly people and the Gentiles are the heavenly people (Church people).  That is why the church is so important for Jesus while he was on this earth.  Thus, that is why we have to go to church at least once a week on Sunday.  Surely, The Jewish people will be the heavenly people on His second coming, when they realize that He was the one they crucified, at the time he will deal with them as the heavenly people. This is God’s promise from eternity past.

Even so come Lord Jesus, we await on thee our blessed hope.

Attributes of God

Attributes of God:

A plan of the ages:   God set everything in motion, sometimes way back in eternity past. In Genesis Chapter 2 , God created heaven and earth out of nothing.  Without father, without mother, self created without origin, awesome God. He is Infinite, He is Immutable, Self Sufficient,  Omnipotent, Omniscient,  Omnipresent, God is Wise with unchanging wisdom, He is Faithful, God is Good,  Just, Merciful, Gracious, Loving, Holy, and He is Glorious. These are the attributes of God.

When Moses asked God, what can I tell Pharaoh  who sent me.  God said “I Am that I AM”.  AM is a verb of being. That is the reason to this day, since creation of mankind, we human beings still say I am doing this, I am going there, I am this and I am that. This “AM” is something in our spiritual DNA.  We associate with our God; but we don’t even do it cognitively.

God  allowed human beings and Nations to exercise free will.  When it comes to His will, everything falls according to His plan.  All  the prophesy according to his time table, from the birth of Jesus to the last end of His Biblical prophecy,  He will accomplish all his purposes without making human beings simply robots to do it for Him. Because he is sovereign God with all the above attributes and nothing is impossible for Him. Praise Him for evermore.

So many people do not know who Jesus is. Because of this they don’t have the knowledge of salvation.

Who in the world is Jesus Christ? Here are the answers from the Bible given by various holy men and women.

Back in Genesis 12. He gave the Jewish people a covenant to prepare them for the Nation of Israel to receive their king.

Mathew 16:  Jesus asked His disciples the question, whom do men say that I the son of man am?  Some said Jeremiah, some say John the Baptist. But Jesus said, whom do you say that I am?

Peter the disciple: said, “ Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”  Peter never knew the Cross or the Resurrection, because he did not know at that time for Jesus was still among them, not crucified yet.

Jesus said to Peter:  Flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, except my Father in Heaven.

Martha, Jesus’s follower:  In the account of her brother Lazarus death, she said if you were in his sick bed he wouldn’t have died. Jesus said Lazarus will rise again. And Martha said, thinking He is speaking of the resurrection I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus answered, I am the Resurrection and the Life. He that believes in me yet shall he live. Martha, you believe now then? Yes Lord, I believe “Thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God.”

Paul the father of the Gentiles: said, Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of God.  This was the whole trust of the Old and New Testament covenant promise. It is that the government in the person of the King, the Messiah will one day will return. The same Jesus Christ that created the Universe will one day will return to defeat the enemy of man which is Death, and will govern human kind in everlasting peace and tranquility. Because He knows we cannot govern ourselves.

Below is the testament of the dream of Nebuchadnezzar: Which clearly shows that man’s kingdom is rapidly deteriorating kingdom that has gone from gold standard of leadership to the last which is a mixture of iron/clay-inferior quality.

Daniel 2

31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.

32This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

33His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

34Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

35Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

36This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.

37Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

38And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

39And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

40And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

41And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

42And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

43And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

44And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

A stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

The meaning of the above  passage is, that the stone is representing Jesus our rock. This rock will fall on the feet which is iron and clay mixture  literally meant weak make up of people and government will be destroyed when He comes to establish His Glorious Kingdom.

Dream of Nebuchadnezzar:

In his dream he saw a man with the following image.

The Head – Gold       – Babylon Empire, Nebuchadnezzar

                              The Breast – Silver     – Persian/Median Empire

The Belly – Brass       – Greek Empire

The Thighs – Clay      – Roman Empire

The Feet – Iron/clay   – Revived Roman empire,

                                                                                 Present Western Empire.

The Last four Empires after Nebuchadnezzar: Descending their value in Government while ascending in military power, as they increased in military power and as each government came along to exist, each became incapable of governing. The world in general came to that prophetic fulfillment of our present time.  We came to democratic forms of government.

Democracy is not the best government but it is the better of all evils.  As we are witnessing it, Democratic government is messy, dependent on the whims of individual people.  We are born with flaws.  We will never be perfect as our coming Lord and ruler Jesus Christ.

The last mixture of Iron and clay on the feet, is the symbol of our current governments. It is the weak mixture where it is prophesized: governments will be weak, humans will be unable to govern themselves until Lord Jesus returns and govern us. For now all the strive and weakness of governments will continue.

Ephesians 1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Ruth

The Miraculous work of God:

The Story of RuthThe story of Ruth is a story of Faith and Love.

So, she wanted to say goodby to her two daughters in law, one of the daughter has said goodby to her with some sadness.  But Ruth wants to go with Naomi to Judah. Since she loved Naomi, she said, In treat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou go I will go; and where thou lodge, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: This is Faith.  Remember Ruth was a Moabite with a pagan religion totally against the traditional Jewish religion.  Love and God’s providence lead Ruth’s heart to follow Naomi.

And there was a man called Boaz a statesman in Judah.  Naomi told her to go to him which is during harvest.  There, Ruth introduced herself to Boaz.  He fall in love with her, they got married and have a child.  Her child’s name was Obed, Obed has Jesse, and Jesse has David, lineage of Jesus Christ of our Lord.

When God does his miracle on people and do his purpose in this world, he does not say you are a sinner, you are Moabite pagan or he does not come thru the rich and affluent.  All the great stories of the Bible personalities have been sinners and nobodies.  Being a merciful God, He came for sinners.  So it should not be a surprise if He is dealing with the lost and sinners to accomplish his divine purpose. https://societyforjesus.org/the-glory-and-goodness-of-our-god/

Read Ruth Chapter 1

1.Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

2.And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.

3.And Elimelech Naomi’s husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

4.And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

5.And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

6.Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.

7.Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.

8.And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother’s house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.

9.The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.

10.And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.

11.And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?

12.Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;

13.Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.

14.And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.

15.And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

16.And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodges, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

17.Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

18.When she saw that she was steadfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

19.So they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi?

20.And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

21.I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?

22.So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabite, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest. Let us the Story of Ruth unfolding in front of our eyes.

Commandments:

posted in: Blog | 75
It is real sad to see how far we are gone away from obeying God’s commandments and the commands and advises parents give to their children.  All rebel, that has become the norm in our society. If we ignore God’s commandments, there is no way the spirit of fear of God or respect to humanity and our own families will prevail.  All the spirit of rebel.  Here are some commandments that God wants us to follow.  When we do, how He abundantly bless us in this life and the coming life.  The other alternative will be: individuals, families, nations (we will all receive the ultimate wrath of God).  But his mercy endures for ever, thus his patience.  He has done it in the past on nations and individuals.  Nothing stops Him from executing judgement in His own time.  So let us be what He created us to be.
Ecclesiastes  12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Read some of God’s Commandments:

Genesis 26:5

2  And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

3  Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swear unto Abraham thy father;

4  And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

5  Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Exodus 15:26

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee

Exodus 20:6

3  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

5  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Leviticus 26:3

1  Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

2  Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

3  If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

4  Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

5  And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

6  And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

Deuteronomy 4:40

Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.

Hebrews Chapter 1

This chapter speaks to us, how God spoken to mankind thru the prophets, one of them being Moses. Remember when

He has tried in many ways to reach us and make us know him. At the end he sent his only begotten son as promised to be

our savoir. God in the flesh among us. (Immanuel) .

Hebrews
Chapter 1

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the

worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his

power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to

him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy

kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of

gladness above thy fellows.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Here is where all our earthly troubles started.  God in his infinite wisdom created us with such eternal bliss, we have no conscious of our own mind,

except to live in peace, joy and tranquil life.  We were not aware of good and bad, so he shrouded us with his grace which is part of his heavenly kingdom.

The serpent which is Lucifer,  the arrogant creature of heaven, saw the beauty of man and his relation with God.  He subtly approached Eve and of course misled her. Here are the three things that force Eve to sin:

  1.  The lust of the eye

  2.  The lust of the flesh

  3.  The pride of life

Jesus in his earthly life was tasted by the devil in those three things.( Luke 4:3-8)

The tree of life is the conscious of God and his heavenly economy. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden, their protection was unveiled  and become aware of the knowledge of good and evil.  Fear sets in and they want to hide from God.  They disobeyed his command. The first blame and finger pointing started with Adam by blaming God.  “The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” and Eve of course blamed the serpent.  Now they are cast out of His presence and are on their own on the cursed earth because of their sin.  But, God in his love and mercy towards man, has constituted a plan of salvation.  Cursed is man and cursed is the world.  So he has to send his own beloved son in flesh form. Colossians 2:9  For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  God came in flesh form and became sin when he is sinless to save us from the enemy.  What He required of us is to believe in the death, burial, resurrection and ascension  of Jesus Christ and his coming back in glory at the appointed time. He required of us to have Faith in Him.

Without Faith it is impossible to please God and without the shed blood there is no remission of Sin. So have Faith and look up for the Blessed Hope.

Genesis
Chapter 3

1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

7  And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

8  And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9  And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10  And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11  And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

12  And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

13  And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

14  And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

16  Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18  Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

20  And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

21  Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

22  And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

23  Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

24  So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Chapter 3

1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)

6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:

16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:

17 And the way of peace have they not known:

18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

This month and thru August we will be reading Romans and see what we understand about the Word of God.

In this chapter Paul is talking about the nature of God and Man’s rejection of Him. Mostly, Paul is happy about the “called to be saints” and their Faith .
Paul has put some personal things in his Epistle, but keep on reading and decipher the Gold from the rubble.

Romans
Chapter 1

1  Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
2  (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
3  Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5  By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6  Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7  To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8  First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9  For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
10  Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11  For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12  That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13  Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even    as among other Gentiles.
14  I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15  So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23  And changed the glory of the in-corruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.
24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31  Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Psalm 12

This passage is comforting us , how the poor and the needy are oppressed by the lying lips and how God will cut them off who lie and boast.

1 (To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David.) Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbor: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

Psalms 11

The message here is:  if you trust in the Lord, no matter what the wicked and the arrogant do to you, it will come to pass.
At the end God in his righteousness will recompense the good, as he hates the souls of the wicked.

1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Here king David is addressing the situation of the wicked people, their pride and their suppressing of the poor.

He is pleading to forget not the humble from deceitful and cursing people.

Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble, that the wicked man of the earth may not oppress.

Psalms 10

1 Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

Psalms Chapter 9

Here we see a contrast of God’s favor towards the righteous and his punishment towards the wicked.

King David is singing praise to the Lord for His righteous judgment.

1 (To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David.) I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

Psalms Chapter 8

King David glorifying God in His creation of man and the world around him.  What a wonderful God! Indeed.

More magical will be his heavenly kingdom in Eternity. What glory awaits those who are in Christ Jesus.

1 (To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David.) O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the eart

This Chapter deals with how David is praying to God that if he might had done anyone wrong, who is at peace with him, let him persecute me and tread my life on this earth. It is David’s desire to be righteous in the sight of God.

Let the people praise you and wickedness come to an end in this world and establish righteousness. God’s anger will be towards the wicked and eventual judgment.

Psalms Chapter 7

1 (Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.) O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

3 O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

Psalms Chapter 5

1 (To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.) Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

1 (To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm of David.) Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.

3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

Pointing Blame – Early nature of Mankind

posted in: Blog | 0

Verse 12 and 13 points to our fallen nature. Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the Serpent.

To this day we carry on this blame game, because we are fallen from the Grace of God.

The subtle beast is none other than Lucifer who wanted to take the throne of God.

To avenge God, he messed around with God’s crowning achievement , Man kind.

It is written that in God’s appointed time, the Devil  will succumb to his everlasting abode,

and man will dwell in harmony with God-for eternity, as it was meant to be.  Thanks

to our Lord Jesus by whom is our life, salvation and resurrection is accomplished.

By the finished work of the Cross, He has saved us for Eternity.  All we have to do

is simple.  To believe in Him as our Savior.

Genesis Chapter 3

Now the serpent was more subtle  than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

8And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

13And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

14And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

16Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

20And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

21Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

22And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

24So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Genesis Chapter 4 – The First Murder

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

2And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

3And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

4And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

5But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

6And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

7If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

8And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

9And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

10And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

11And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

12When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

13And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

14Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

15And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

16And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

17And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

18And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.

19And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

20And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.

21And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

22And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.

23And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.

24If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

25And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

26And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

Genesis 3

posted in: Blog, Genesis | 0

The serpent captured the fancy of Eve, in three basic human emotions.

1.The lust of the Eye

2.The desire of the flesh

3.The pride of life

Even Jesus was tempted by the Devil on these three powerful emotions. But He overcomes it.

The sin perpetrated by the first Adam, was atoned and forgiven our sins thru the second Adam (Jesus).

To understand these three conditions, read Verse 6 in this chapter, it encompasses  all three.

1.Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
